    • Newspaper Obituary - February 6, 1930 Sandy Creek News - Mrs. Sadie Weaver - The funeral of Mrs. Sadie Weaver, who died Saturday evening, February 1, in Syracuse, was held Tuesday from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Brown, burial being in Woodlawn Cemetery.

      Newspaper Obituary - February 13, 1930 Sandy Creek News - Mrs. Sadie Brown Weaver - Mrs. Sadie Weaver whos sudden death occured at her home in Syracuse February 1, 1930, was born in the town of Ellisburg near the present home of A. Chamberlain March 20, 1876. She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Brown, coming to Sandy Creek with them when about three years of age. She was married February 11, 1894 to H. W. Weaver. To them were born three children, H. Lee, who resided in the western part of the town; Lora May, wife of Ira White of Detroit Mich., and Louis who died in infancy. Mrs. Weaver has made her home at Syracuse for twenty three years. She was a member of the First Baptist church and of the Daughters of Liberty at that place. She is survived by her son, H. Lee Weaver, her daughter, Lora Weaver White, her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. F. J. Brown, a brother Orin I Brown, a sister, Anna R. Brown, several grandchildren, besides nieces, nephews and several cousins. She was brought to the home of her parents, Sunday from where the funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Floyd Fennen. The remains were placed in the vault awaiting burial in the spring in Woodlawn cemetery in the family lot.
