- PULASKI, NY - Carl R. Stone, Jr., 67, Pulaski, passed away Saturday, Dec. 15, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of Oswego County.
Born Jan. 2, 1951, in Watertown, the son of Carl R. and Clara Belle Lowrey Stone, Sr., he graduated in 1970 from Belleville Academy.
For the past several years he worked for Reeb Millwork in Liverpool as a truck driver.
He married Eartle Merrill on May 31, 2013, in Watertown, NY.
Carl enjoyed the time he spent with his family, bowling, going to flea markets, watching science fiction movies and was quite the jokester.
He is survived by his wife, Eartle, Pulaski; 3 sons, Carl (Cathy Dobson), Theresa; George (Michelle Sampson), Sandy Creek; Kirk and Quintina, Lorraine; grandchildren, Tara, Jacklynn, Skylar, Logan, Tyler, Izabella and Rebekah. Also surviving are his sisters, Caroline Loomis, Cynthia Hall, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Stone, and two sisters, Claire Larman and Connie Anderson.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family will have a celebration of life for Carl at a date and time to be announced.
