Former East Syracuse resident Alice M. Colvin, 94, died Sunday in Vero Beach, Fla.
A native of Wilson, Conn., Mrs. Colvin lived many years in East Syracuse before moving to Vero Beach in 1959. She was a teacher at Roosevelt High School in Syracuse and was a former principal at Williamstown High School. Mrs. Colvin was a graduate of Syracuse University and received her master's degree from Columbia University. Her husband, Lee F., died in 1987.
Surviving are a sister, Ellen G. Carney of Vero Beach, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Alice Clemons of Osceola; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John's Church, Camden. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Williamstown.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Sanborn-McDaniels & LaRobardiere Funeral Home, 109 Main St., Camden.
