    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, December 9, 1886 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Ridge Road - Mrs. William Towl died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Esek Stewart, Sunday last, after a few weeks sickness. The deceased was 63 years of age, and had lived in this vicinity the better part of her life. The funeral was held from her late residence, Tuesday a.m., Rev. E. F. Maine delivered the sermon. A large circle of friends gathered to pay the last tribute to the departed, among whom were many from abroad. The remains were interred in the cemetery at Pulaski.
