    • Newspaper Obituary - February 1, 1971 Wilkes-Barre Times Leader Evening News - Gertrude Forve - Mrs. Gertrude Forve, 67, of 11 Elder St., died Friday night in General Hospital. The fromer Gertrude Hartman, she was born October 11, 1903, in Wilkes-Barre, and was a graduate of Coughlin High School. Mrs. Forve was a member of St. Nicholas Church and was a past president of Mercy Hospital Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband Fred F. Forve; daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Grimen and Mrs. Helen Campbell, both of Wilkes-Barre; a brother, John Hartman, Oak Park, Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren. Funeral will be held from the McLaughlin Funeral Home, 142 S. Washington St., today at 9 a.m., with a Mass of Requiem at 9:30 a.m.m in St. Nicholas Church. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
