- Obituary of Robert J. Allen
Robert J. Allen, age 72, resident of Altmar, formerly of Orwell, passed away Sunday at his home. Robert was born April 27, 1947 in Utica, the son of Henry and Viola Waggoner Allen. He attended Remsen Schools. Robert was married to Genevieve Kellar on July 2, 1975. He was employed by the Village of Altmar from 1979 until 2009. He was also employed at K&S Tire in Williamstown for several years.
Surviving are his wife, Genevieve, two daughters, Viola (Jason) Shattuck of Richland and Mary (Tim) Stacey of Winchester, KY, and five grandchildren, Jeffrey, Toban, Beau, Josslin Rose and Amber.
A memorial service will be held at noon Wednesday, June 5th, at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street Pulaski with burial in at the convenience of the family. A calling hour will be held from 11 a.m. to noon prior to the funeral.
