Mary "Grandma" Miller, 69, Miller Road, died Tuesday at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where she was admitted Sept. 21.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Summerville Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with the Rev. Lorraine Zimmerman, pastor of the Sandy Creek United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Sandy Creek.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the auxiliary of the Sandy Creek Fire Department.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert E.; a daughter, Mrs. Hollis (Lori) Hanson, Pulaski; four sons, Steven, Roberts, Mont., Stanley, Sandy Creek, Allan, Orwell, and Tim, Everett, Wash.; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Harvey and Harold Gould, died before her.
Born May 5, 1925, in Pulaski, daughter of Fred and Esther Mahaffy Gould, she was a graduate of Pulaski High School and married Herbert E. Miller Dec. 8, 1945, in Sandy Creek.
Mrs. Miller lived in the town of Sandy Creek for 49 years. She retired in 1976 as a cook with the Wigwam Hotel, Sandy Pond.
She was a member of Sandy Creek Methodist Church and the auxiliaries of the Sandy Creek Fire Department and Cable Trail Post 8534, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
