Daniel O. Clemmons died of paralysis Monday at his home near Chase's Lake, aged 80 years. He had been sick about a month. Mr Clemmons came from Montgomery county to Lewis county and located on the hill west of Lowville. He had, however, been a resident of Chase's Lake for several years, where he was engaged in farming. He was the father of Richard Clemmons, of Chase's Lake, Orrin Clemmons, of Felts Mills, Tiffany and Eli Clemmons of Parkers, Mrs. Sophia Granno, of Lowville, Mrs. Stephen Waldron and Mrs. George Anson, of Watson.

CLEMONS FAMILY REUNION-
Held at Forest Park, Lowville-
Mr. Editor- the first Clemons family reunion was held at Forest Park, Lowville, September 15, in honor of Daniel and Hannah Clemons, and it was a very pleasant occasion. Friends came from far and near until there were about one hundred present. At 12:30 all sat down to a sumptious dinner, which was served in floral hall. The table was well laden with good things to eat, including a cake made by Mrs. Daniel Clemons, of Holland Patent, in honor of the occasion, being beautifully decorated in colors, with the following inscription: "Clemons reunion." Cut flowers were used in decorating the table. After enjoying dinner all went to the grandstand, where a fine programme was given, including songs , reading , recitations and a drama. All taking part did well. A biography of Daniel Clemons and wife was read, which stated that there were 131 descendants. After enjoying the programme the following officers were elected: president, Mrs. Ezra Waldron, Lowville; vice-president, Ernest Clemons, Felts Mills: secretary, Mrs. William Schwendy, Lowville: treasurer, Mrs. Philip Flint, Lowville: historian , Daniel Clemons of Holland Patent. the executive committee chose the following committees; On refreshments, Ruth Waldron, Watson, chairman; Mrs. Philip Flint, Mrs. William Schwendy, Mrs. Ezra Waldron, Lowville; table committee , Mrs. Abram Waldron, Lowville; chairman; Mrs. Alvah Moore , Rector; Mrs. Herman Bonner, Pulaski; Mrs. Walter Ryan, Rices; programme, Mrs. William Brown, Lowville, chairman; Mrs. Daniel Clemons , Holland Patent; Mrs. Ernest Clemons, Felts Mills; Mrs. Elkanah Waldron, Watson; sports, Tiffny Clemons, Lowville, chairman; Daniel Clemons , Holland Patent; Milton Clemons , Carthage; Orin Clemons , Denmark. It was voted to hold the next reunion at Forest Park, Lowville, Tuesday July 1, 1924. After the business meeting they all enjoyed some fine sports for which prizes were given to the winners and booby prizes were also given, which caused much laughter and fun. Prizes were given to the oldest personpresent., being Eli Clemens, Rector, 76; The youngest, Betty Snyder, Pine Grove, seven months; one that came the farthest, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Merry, Frankfort; father of the largest family, Daniel Clemons, Holland Patent, 16 children. All reported a good time as good-bys and hand shakes were passed from one to the other, each one expressing a desire to be present another year.
