      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, June 10, 1925 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Mexico, June 10 - Thomas Lacy, 57, died at an early hour this morning at Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, following an operation for extraction of teeth. He was taken there Tuesday morning, the extraction has been completed and the attending physician had pronounced his condition as satisfactory and he was to have left the hospital this morning. About midnight last night his condition became alarming and his wife was summoned to the hospital by telephone. Before she could arrange for the journey a second telephone message brought the news of his death at one o'clock. Mr. Lacy was born in Richland, October 23, 1867, and 27 years ago he married Miss Cora Bradner of Fernwood, and removed to Maple View, town of Mexico. He was a prosperous farmer and cattle dealer and owned one of the finest country homes in this vicinity. He was a member of Mexico Grange. Surviving besides his wife are three sisters, Mrs. Fred B. Rich, wife of former Supervisor Rich; Mrs. Ernest Perry, both of Fernwood, and Mrs. Mary Gilette of Nebraska, and one brother, Frank Lacy, of Fernwood. The remains arrived this afternoon in charge of Undertaker Leroy Miner. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
