Donna L. Joyner

Donna L. Joyner, age 54, of life resident of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday at University Medical Center in Syracuse. She was born February 27, 1958, in Fulton, the daughter of Robert and Phyllis Goebel Holt Sr. She graduated from Pulaski High School in 1976. Donna married Channie Joyner Jr. on July 6, 1980, he passed away May 31, 2012. She was employed by the U.S. Postal Service, Taft Road office in North Syracuse for 13 years. She was previously employed by Eddie's Big M in Mexico. Donna was a member of the Pulaski Baptist Church and the Richland Fire Department Auxiliary. She also volunteered at the Senior Nutrition Site in Sandy Creek.
Surviving are one son, Channie L. (Shawnna) Joyner of Pulaski; two granddaughters, Ashleigh and Emily; her father, Robert Holt Sr., of Pulaski; two brothers, William of Texas and Robert of Fulton. She is predeceased by one brother, Richard Holt, who passed away in 1987.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
