Notes - Charles “Sonny” F. Watson, age 85, resident of Morristown for the past 23 years, formerly of Richland, passed away Sunday at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. Charles was born July 27, 1933 in Watertown, the son of Arthur and Bertha McVee Watson. He graduated from Canton High School in 1951 and served in the United States Army from 1956 until 1958. Charles was married to D. Beverly McNett on August 9, 1959. He owned and operated Watson Well Drilling for 35 years retiring in 1996. He had been previously employed by Millbrook Bakeries and Pepsi Co. Charles was a member of the Mad River Club.
Surviving, are his wife, D. Beverly, one son, Jeffrey (Kathy) Watson of Richland and one daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Watson Hunt of Geneva, six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
