      Newspaper Obituary - Saturday Afternoon, September 1, 1928 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - C. F. Fanner, 77, Pulaski, Dies - Pulaski, September 1 - Charles F. Farmer, 77, native of Oswego county and one of the most prosperous and best known fanners of the eastern end of the county, died yesterday afternoon at his home two miles south of this village following a long illness. Failing health forced him to retire more than a year ago_ Mr. Fainter was born August 13, 1850, in the southern section of the town of Richland and where he had passed practically all his life. He was educated in the district schools of that section and had followed farming all these years. His wife died a few years ago. Surviving are a son, Nathan A. Farmer, who lives at the Farmer home, and a brother and sister, Lawrence J. Fanner of Pulaski and Mrs. Frank W. Austin of Fulton. Last rites will be held from the family home at 2 Sunday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Charles Bollinger, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church of Pulaski. Burial will be in Willis cemetery, south of this village.
