    • Beverly Watson, age 91, of Richland, NY, passed away peacefully on November 17th surrounded by family. Beverly was born June 9th 1934 in Pulaski NY. She was the daughter of Mildred and Owen McNett. Beverly graduated from Pulaski High School in 1952 and then attended Buffalo State to earn a degree in Home Economics Education. Beverly married Charles Watson on August 11th 1959. Charles passed away June 30th 2019 and they would have been married 60 years that year. Throughout her career in eductions she briefly taught at Carthage before landing in the Mexico School district where she taught 7th and 8th grades Home Economics and also at the High School for over 39 years. When they both retired Beverly and Charles moved up to the St Lawrence River just outside o Morristown NY where they renovated a summer camp into year round home and resided there for over 30 years.

      Beverly belonged to many organizations over the years. While residing in Richland she belonged to the DAR, ADK and Home Den. She allows very talented with sewing and crafts and had many of her items displayed at local craft shows over the years. Beverly also was an active member of the Ogdensburg Hospital Craft Auxiliary while living up on the St Lawrence River.She belonged to a group of wonderful women who helped raise money for the hospital through many craft show events. Beverly was also a great lover of animals and had many wonderful furry family members over the years. She was also a avid Buffalo Bills fan.

      Surviving are her son Jeffery Watson, daughter in-law Kathleen (Schroeder) Watson of Richland. Daughter Jennifer Watson Hunt, and son in-law Scott Hunt of Geneva, NY. Also survived by her niece Angela (Bullo) Eick of Albion, NY. Beverly was predeceased by her sister Gracie Lewis of California and Diane (McNett) Bullo of Albion. She was blessed to have six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. She will be missed by many.

      There will be a celebration of life next summer on June 6th 2026, at the Half Shire Historical Society, of Richland, NY. She requested that there would be no calling hours or funeral.
