Richard Rule, 72, of Enterprise Street, Nanticoke, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018, in Celtic Hospice Unit at Geisinger South Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.
Richard was born in Newport Twp., on Nov. 26, 1945, the son of the late Richard and Margaret Russell Rule.
Richard served his country proudly, having been in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict and at the time of his retirement, was a machinist at Air Product in Hanover Twp.
He was preceded in death by wife, the former Rose Tolodziecki; and brother, Raymond and Malcolm.
Surviving are son, Richard R., Nanticoke; daughter, Richelle Rittenhouse, Luzerne; grandchildren, Leonard, Peter, Rebecca; sister, Ada Kozlowski, Shavertown; and brother, Robert, Wanamie.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Earl W. Lohman Funeral Home Inc., 14 W. Green St., Nanticoke, with the Rev. Roger Noss, officiating.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
