Obituary of Michael J. Geer
Michael J. Geer, age 28, resident of Central Square for the last five years, formerly of Pulaski, passed away Monday due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Michael was born March 15, 1991 in Watertown, the son of John and Jackie Nutting Geer. He graduated from Pulaski High School in 2009. Michael was employed by Associated Industrial Riggers in East Syracuse for the past two years and had previously been employed by Schoeller Technical Papers and Fulton Companies in Pulaski.
Surviving, are his parents, John and Jackie Geer of Pulaski, sister, Katelyn Geer and fiancé Dalton Webb of Pulaski, his girlfriend Megan Vogt of Central Square, paternal grandmother, Darlene Griebel of Pulaski, paternal grandparents, Larry and Wendy Geer of Pulaski, two uncles, and several cousins. Michael was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Ronald and Jeanne Nutting and paternal grandfather, Arthur Griebel.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 26th at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street in Pulaski with burial in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, prior to the funeral.
Central Square man killed in early morning motorcycle crash in Oswego County

WEST MONROE, N.Y. -- A Central Square man was killed early Monday morning in a motorcycle crash in Oswego County, according to the New York State Police.
State police were called to county Route 37 and Woodworth Road in the town of West Monroe at 5:40 a.m. for the crash.
A passing motorist observed a demolished motorcycle next to a damaged utility pole with wires partially down along the road, state police said in a news release.
The operator of the motorcycle, later identified as Michael J. Geer, was located by troopers and emergency medical services about 30 yards from the motorcycle in the nearby woods, police said.
Geer, 28, was pronounced dead at the scene, state police said.
The investigation is continuing.
