PULASKI - Services for Edmund A. Allen, 74, who died Saturday, April 7, at Oswego Hospital, were held Wednesday, April 11, at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Surviving are two sons, Wayne A. of Oswego and Terry L. of Pulaski; two brothers, John H. of Syracuse and William G. of Altoona, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren. A native of Penn Yan, he lived in Pulaski for 47 years. He was employed
by General Electric Co. in Syracuse for 28 years until he retired in 1975. He was an Army Air Corps veterans of World War II. He is the widower of Hilda Reader, who died in 1980.

Allen, 74, of 7531 Maple Avenue, died Saturday in Oswego Hospital. The funeral will be at 11 a.rn. Wednesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park Street. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Surviving are two sons, Wayne A., Oswego, and Terry L., Pulaski; 10 grandchildren. and two brothers, John H., Syracuse, and William G., Altoona, Florida. Born in Penn Yan August 28, 1915, son of George and Bessie Argyle Detwiler, he was adopted at an early age. He married Hilda Reader March 10, 1944, in Syracuse. Mrs. Allen died August 29, 1980. Mr. Allen was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He had lived in Pulaski 47 years and was employed by the General Electric Company for 28 years until his 1975 retirement.
