- Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, November 14, 1989 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Leroy Benjamin Kling Of Pulaski, Dies At 53 - LeRoy Benjamin Kling, 53, of 6544 Lehigh Road, died Sunday in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home, 7643 Jefferson Street, with the Rev. Anthony Keeffe, pastor of St. John Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife, Alice; two sons, Alan and Walter, both of Pulaski; a daughter, Linda, Pulaski, three grandsons; a granddaughter, six sisters, Mrs. Charles (Anna Mae) Johnson, Mrs. Richard (Carol) Kinney Mrs. Clinton (Bette) Woolson, Mrs. Keith (Bonnie) Ridgeway and Marie Burns, all of Pulaski, and Patricia Burns, Syracuse, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Born in Pulaski on March 12, 1936, he attended area schools, and lived all his life on Lehigh Road. He worked as a farmer and as a mechanic with Pulaski Sales and Service, and operated the Lawn and Garden and Recreational Vehicle Sales and Service. He married Alice Wallis on April 12, 1958, at St. John's Church, with the Rev. William J. Shanahan officiating. In 1978, he became owner and operator of a trucking freight service, which he owned until the present.
