Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 3, 1955 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Held for Mrs. Knowlton -Private funeral rites for Mrs. Marcia D. Knowlton, 83, widow of Leonard Knowlton, who died Sunday at the North Park Nursing Home, were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Taylor Funeral Home. The Rev. James N. Pauley officiated. She had been a patient at the nursing home about two weeks and in failing health for the past year. Surviving are one son, Wayne Knowlton of Pulaski; a granddaughter, Elizabeth, of Tampa, Florida; a brother, Frank E. Dillenbeck and a niece, Mrs. Katherine Hotchkiss of Oneida, and several cousins. Mr. Knowlton died in 1940. Mrs. Knowlton was born in Pulaski on June 14, 1872, the daughter of Henry F. and Helen York Dillenbeck. She had spent her entire life in Pulaski and was a member of the Pulaski Methodist Church,. of Rising Sun Rebekah Lodge and of the Past Noble Grands Club of the lodge, all of which she was active in as long as her health would permit. She was married to Mr. Knowlton November 30, 1892.
