Jay A. Stacy
SANDY CREEK - Jay A. Stacy died noon at the home of his aughter, Mrs. Jack Hacket in Fulton, following an illness of one year.
He was a resident of Boylston, but had lived in Fulton for the
past five years. He was born in Boylston on June 26, 1884, the son of Joel, and Eva Edwards Stacy, and was educated in schools in that area. He was married to the late Rena Tyfair Stacy who died in 1962. He lived all of his life in the Boylston and Pulaski area where he was a farmer and lumberjack.

Dies at 83
SANDY CREEK - Jay A. Stacy, 83, of 1111 Emory St., Fulton, formerly of Boylston, died at the home of his daughter in Fulton on Monday at 3 p.m. The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the O'Brien Funeral Home, Sandy Creek, with Rev. Adelbert Edwards, pastor of Pine Meadows Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Wesleyan Cemetery, Lacona.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Surviving are two sons, Raymond, Sandy Creek, and John, Lacona; five daughters, Mrs. Lillian Carnite and Mrs. Charles Cary, Fulton, Mrs. Jennie DeSalto, Syracuse, Mrs. Carlton Steele, Richland, and Mrs. Jack Hackett, Fulton, with whom he had lived; 17 grandchildren; 20 greatgrandchildren; two greatgreat - grandchildren; two brothers, Leon Stacy, Syracuse, and Edward Stacy, Lacona; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Lester, Orwell, and Mrs. Edna Sanford, Fulton; nieces and nephews.
Born in the Town of Boylston on June 26, 1884, a son of Joel and Eva Edwards Stacy, he attended school at Boylston and married Miss Rena Tyfair of Pulaski. She died June 3, 1962. Mr. Stacy worked as a farmer and a lumberjack
