      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, November 12, 1913 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Catherine Buck Knowlton died Wednesday, November 5th, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F. B. Searles, after a painful illness of about three months. Aged 77 years. Mrs. Knowlton was born near Kingston, Canada, and lived the early part of her life there, coming to New York State with her husband and family in 1880. She has resided in Pulaski about 27 years. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. F. B. Searles and Mrs. H. M. Bumpus and two sons, L. A. Knowlton and H. J. Knowlton and four grandchildren, Charles and Francis Bumpus and Gladys Knowlton, all of Pulaski, and Wayne D. Knowlton of Schenectady. Three sisters, Mrs. Abraham Horning of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. John Boyce and Mrs. Matilda Schermerhorn of Odessa, Canada. Burial at Pulaski cemetery.
