Ostrander, 74, of Pompano Beach, Fla., died Friday, April 24 at North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach. Born in Liverpool, she lived in Constantia and Caughdenoy before moving to Florida in 1980. She and her husband owned the Picture Window Restaurant, formerly the Sunset Bay Inn, Constantia. Her husband, Frank, died in 1997. Surviving are a stepson, Frank S. Ostrander of Camden; a stepdaughter, Julie Maxwell of Sisters, Ore.; a sister JoAnne Kendrat of Sandy Creek; a brother, Walter Stewart of Baldwinsville; a half sister, Sharon Connell of Cape Vincent; a half brother, Eugene VanAlstyne of Clayton; several stepgrandchildren. Services were Saturday, May 2 at Summerville Funeral Home. Burial is in Constantia Rural Cemetery.

Ostrander, 74, of 3466 Caddie Court, Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of Constantia and Pulaski, died Friday at North Broward Medical Center, Pompano Beach. Mrs. Ostrander and her husband owned and operated the Picture Window Restaurant, formerly the Sunset Bay Inn, Constantia. They retired in 1980 and spent winters in Florida. Born July 10, 1923, in Liverpool, a daughter of Ivan and Eva Nichols Stewart, she graduated from Pulaski High School in 1941. Her husband, Frank Ostrander, died in 1997. Surviving are a stepson, Frank S., Camden; a stepdaughter, Julie Maxwell, Sisters, Ore.; a sister JoAnne Kendrat, Sandy Creek; a brother, Walter A. Stewart, Baldwinsville; a half sister, Sharon Connell, Cape Vincent; a half brother, Eugene VanAlstyne, Clayton; and several stepgrandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Summerville Funeral Home, 1997 Harwood Drive, Sandy Creek. Burial will be in Constantia Rural Cemetery.
