- cMary Gray Eddy. Theresa, Nov 30.- The death of Mrs Mary Gray Eddy, widow of Arthur Eddy, took place at her home in this village Sunday evening, Nov 28, after less than a week's illness of pneumonia. She was born in the town of Orleans Dec 2, 1850, her parents being John and Margaret Gray. On Dec 2, 1869, she became the wife of Arthur Eddy, and had resided most of her life in this town. A few years were spent in the state of Kansas. Her husband's death took place 22 years ago. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of this place, and her life reflected a true Christian spirit. She is survived by four children, three brothers and one sister. The children are: Ina, wife of Austin Slack of Hermansville, Mich; Florence, wife of Ernest G Cook, and George and John, all of this place. One daughter, May, died at an early age, and a son, Charles, died eight years ago. The brother are: George Gray of Mannsville, Nelson Gray of Black River and Chauncey Gray of the state of Virginia. The sister is Mrs Julia Maxfield of the state of Washington. The funeral will be held from her late home in River street Wednesday at 2 pm, her pastor Rev WJ Hancock, officiating. Funeral of Mrs Mary Eddy Theresa, Dec 2.- The funeral services of Mrs Mary Eddy were held Wednesday afternoon from her late home in River street, Rev WJ Hancock pastor of the Methodist church, assisted by Rev ES Cheeseman, officiating. Out of town relatives in attendance were: Nelson Gray of Black River, George Gray of Mansville, Mrs Mary Loucks of Lafargeville, Mrs James Barton of Fishers Landing and Mrs Fred Walts of Watertown.
