Notes - April 13, 2005 Lawrence E. Herse, age 53, of Spur 10 Yerdon Dr., Redfield, died at his home. He was born in Watertown on October 26, 1951, the son of Charles and Rita Prevost Herse. He lived most of his life in New Haven, moving to Redfield in 1989. He grad-uated from Mexico High School in 1969 and served in the U.S. Army from 1970 - 72 serving in Viet Nam for one year. He married Sandra Vail on October 26, 1981. He was employed by Omega Wire in Williamstown for the past 16 years. He was a member of the Wesleyan Christian Church in Redfield and had a love for music. Surviving are his wife Sandra M.; one daughter Alicia M. Gioia and her husband Elery of Oswego; one son Lawrence J. Herse of Redfield; his father and mother, C. Fred and Rita Herse; one brother, Fred and his wife Jean, all of New Haven; several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Monday, April 18, at St. Cecilia's Church in Adam. Burial will be in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, NY.
