    • Obituary - Harold E. Stewart, 93, of Baldwinsville passed away on Friday at the Syracuse VA Medical Center. He was born in Pulaski raised in Mattydale attending North Syracuse High School. A WW II and Korean War veteran, Harold proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps. After Honorably serving his country, he returned to school at Syracuse University receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering. He was employed at GE in the Aeronautical Division and retired from Rollway Bearing in Liverpool as a Design Engineer. He was a member of the Baldwinsville VFW Post# 153 and the CNY Indoor Flight Association. Harold’s passion was spending time designing and building indoor model airplanes. He is predeceased by his wife, Virginia E. (Schmitt) Stewart and a brother Raymond Stewart, Jr. Surviving to cherish his memory are five daughters, Mary L. Stewart, Betty (Rich) Jennings, Tracey (John) Raymond, Terri (David) Halstead, Bonnie Mento, four sons, Bruce (Marilyn) Stewart, Douglas (Sue) Stewart, Brian (Cindy) Stewart, Timothy W. Stewart, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 4 to 7 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Rt 31 Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be on Thursday at 10:00 am at the funeral home with burial to follow in Riverview Cemetery in Baldwinsville. Calling Hours Wednesday January 3, 2018, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners.
