    • Newspaper Obituary - December 21, 1967 Oswego County Weeklies - Mrs. Lena G. Butterworth, 83, died Sunday Dec. 17, 1967 at the Evergreen Nursing Home, Pulaski, N.Y. She was born in Richland and attended Richland schools. She was the widow of Frederick C. Butterworth and had operated a farm on Albion Crossroads. Mrs. Butterworth was a member of the Pineville Methodist Church and of the Albion Center Grange. Surviving are two sons, Lawerence of Mattydale and Leo of Pulaski; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Quackenbush of Parish; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers, Ivan Stewart of Sandy Creek and Thomas D. Stuart of Fabius. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at her home, Albion Crossroads. Burial will be in Pineville Cemetery.

      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, December 18, 1967 Palladium Times - Mrs. Lena G. Butterworth - Pulaski - Mrs. Lena G. Butterworth, 83, died yesterday at the Evergreen nursing home where she had been a patient for three weeks. She was born June 30, 1884, in Richland, the daughter of Cyrus and Eliza Eddy Stewart. She attended Richland schools. She was married to Frederick C. Butterworth, July 4, 1905, in Pulaski. He died Nov. 17, 1964. Since their marriage, the couple had operated a farm on Albion Crossroad. Mrs. Butterworth was a member of Pineville Methodist Church and of Albion Center Grange. Surviving are two sons, Lawrence, Mattydale, and Leo, Pulaski; a daughter Mrs. Ernest (Esther) Quackenbush, Parish; two grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers Ivan F. Stewart, Sandy Creek and Thomas D. Stewart, Fabius; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at her home on Albion Crossroad. The Rev. Nelson Reppert of Park Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Pineville cemetery. Friends may call at the family home at their convenience after 2 p.m. Tuesday.
