      Newspaper Obituary - December 14, 1947 Pulaski Democrat - Richland Native Dies In New York - Miss Carrie Stewart, a native of richland died in New York City Dec. 11 where she had made her home for the past 85 years. She was born in Richland, May 27, 1860, the daughter of Dexter and Harriet Hubbs Stewart. She received her education in the Batavia schools, she was a member of the Methodist church in Richland while living there.She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Herbert Wright of Syracuse and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held on Monday at 2:00pm by the Rev. Robert Rowsam, pastor of the Richland Methodist church. Burial was made in the Richland cemetery.
