    • Newspaper Obituary - April 22, 1915 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Sarah Eddy, wife of the late Thomas J. Eddy, passed away Monday evening, April 12th, after an illness of four-weeks, at the home of her daughters, Mrs. James Colvin and Mrs. Orin De Shane. Mrs. Eddy was a good neighbor and kind friend, never turning a deaf ear I to any one needing help and always ready to care for the sick, although for a few years past, she has been a constant care. She will be sadly missed in her home where she was tenderly cared for. She leaves to mourn her loss, three daughters, Mrs. Charles Colvin of Oneida, N.Y. Mrs. James Colvin and Mrs. Orin DeShane, of Richland, N.Y., one sister, Mrs. Grant Day of Harrowsmith, Ont., several grandchildren. "A precious one from us is gone, A voice we loved is still, A place is vacant in our Home, ' "That never can be filled."
