    • Funeral of Mr. Moore Held at Lortie Home

      Private funeral services for Merton Moore, 76, who died January 2, 1947 were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Leo Lortie. The body was placed in the vault at Woolawn Cemetery with interment at Wesleyan Cemetery, Lacona in the spring.

      Mr. Moore was a son of the late James and Frances Moore and was born in Sandy Creek. He is survived by four children, Mrs. Leo (Frances) Lortie of this vilage; Mrs. Carl (Nina) Clement of Shortsville, Jay Moore of Verona; Earl Moore, of Utica and a sister, Mrs. Ray (Ildra) Piper of Adams, also by seven grandchildren.
