Lewis E. Dewey, 64, of Sandy Creek, died Monday at House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown.
Mr. Dewey, who was born in Ripley, had owned a service station in Pulaski before retiring in 1984.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He was a retired member and former chief of the Ringgold Fire Department and a member of Robert Edwards Post 358, American Legion, Pulaski.
Surviving are his wife, Carnell; two daughters, Susan Carr, of Buffalo, and Sandra Haynes, of Central Square; a brother, Lester, of Pulaski; a sister, Marilyn Bretz, of Olmstead Falls, Ohio; and nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, the Rev. Earl Smith officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
