Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, May 28, 1925 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Mrs. Frances S. Salisbury - Mrs. Frances Stacy Salisbury, 77, widow of Benjamin Dewey Salisbury, died at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning at her home in Park street, Pulaski. She had been ill for a number of years, but her condition did not take a critical turn until shortly before her death. Mrs. Salisbury, whose maiden name was Frances Stacy, was a native of Oswego county. She was born January 16, 1848, at New Haven, but had lived in Pulaski ever since the time of her marriage, nearly 60 years ago. Her husband was a native of the village, of which his family were old residents, and he lived in Pulaski up to the time of his death, some 25 years ago. Mrs. Salisbury had been an active member of the Pulaski Congregational church for many years. Mr. and Mrs. John Mellor, of Syracuse, the latter a niece of Mrs. Salisbury, and Charles Allen of Oswego, a nephew, came to Pulaski Saturday afternoon, called by the news of the death. Of the members of her husband's family, Mrs. Ida S. Craig, now of Rochester, and Mrs. James A. Morris, of Thousand Island Park, sisters-in-law, and John N. Alsever, of Syracuse, a nephew, are expected for the funeral.
