- Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 1, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - West Albion - A telegram stating the death of Ora Hooper, Clearfield, Pennsylvania, was received Thursday. He was born in the town of Albion October 19, 1877 and died in Danville, Pennsylvania November 24, 1909. His remains, accompanied by his mother, Mrs. F. E, Fuller, and sisters, Misses Mattie and Ida Hooper, arrived Saturday and taken by undertaker Morton to the home of his cousin, D. B. Phillips, where the funeral services were held Sunday at one o’clock. Rev. C. C. Hutchins, a schoolmate of the deceased, spoke from Eccl. 12:1. Ora was brought up in our midst living here about ten years ago and is remembered for his bright ways and kindness to all. The sadness of his long illness and early death is regrettai by many. He is survived by his mother, stepfather and four sisters, all of Clearfield. Many sympathizing friends gathered to pay their last tribute of respect and accompanied the remains to its resting place in the Willis cemetery. Mrs. John Whitney, of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Mrs. F. L. Porter, of Fulton and Mrs. G. T. Smith, of Sandy Creek were here to attend the funeral, besides friends from Richland, Altmar. Pulaski and Fernwood.
