Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 18, 1897 Mexico Independent - Mexico, New York - South Richland, November 18 - After a lingering illness, Miss Phoebe Waters, passed away on Wednesday night, November 3. The funeral was the following Saturday at her late home. Patience and trust in the all wise Providence and longing to go home and be at rest were some of the prominent characteristics of her last days. Mrs. Lloyd of New Haven and Mrs. Soule of Oswego, sisters, were in town to attend the funeral.
