      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, October 13, 1897 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - On Monday, at midnight, occurred the death of Hiram Maltby, one of Pulaski's oldest and most respected citizens. The funeral will take place at three o'clock Thursday afternoon at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Jessie M. Greene. The brothers and sisters who survive him are Mrs. Rose Trumbull, Rollin C. and Albert H. Maltby, of this village; Col. R. R. Maltby, of Kentucky, Mrs. Jane Parish and Mrs. Emma Huson, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Mrs. Josephine Brewer, of Texas and Chauncey Maltby, of Grand Ledge, Michigan. Besides these he leaves for children, U. Z. Maltby, of Oswego, A. A. Maltby and Mrs. Jessie M. Greene, of Pulaski and Mrs. S. P. Davis, of Williamstown.
