      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, December 17, 1919 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Maria Valentine Burr passed away at the family home on the North road early Thursday morning. December 4th. Mrs. Burr had not been in robust health for several years but the sudden end was an unexpected shock to her family and friends. Mrs. Burr was born in the town of Richland a few miles south of this village, September 20, 1846, and with the exception of a few years in early childhood which were spent in Otsego County this state, she had spent her entire life in the vicinity of this village. She was married to Adelbert H. Burr. November 1, 1870 and plans had been made to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of their marriage in 1920. Four children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Burr, John V. Burr, Harriet M. Burr, Frank W. Burr and Harry A. Burr. Mrs. Burr is survived by her husband, Mr. A. H. Burr and three of the children, one son, John V. Burr having passed away ten years ago. The funeral services were held at the family home Monday afternoon, December 8th, the Rev. F. H. Ferris, officiating. Interment was made in Pulaski cemetery. Much love for the deceased and the surviving members of her family found expression in the beautiful flowers and the many words of love and sympathy expressed.
