- Jennie Elizabeth Taylor Soule - November 7, 1848 - June 1, 1922. Wife of Adelbert D. Soule.
Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, October 17, 1922 Oswego Daily Palladium - Oswego, New York - Home For The Homeless - Secretary's Report for the Year Ending October 11"`, 1922 - Under the efficient direction of our [line unreadable] the Home has enjoyed a happy and pleasant year. Very little friction or discord of any kind to mar the harmony of its members. As free from sickness as could be expected, from such a number of aged and enfeebled ones. There has been but one death, Mrs. Jennie Elizabeth Soule. She was born in Oswego, November 7th, 1848. Her life was mostly spent here. In 1870 she married Adelbert D. Soule, who for many years connected with the flourishing dry goods house of Henderson and Company, in the store now occupied by Mr. George Campbell. Mrs. Soule was of a retiring nature, fond of her home and friends and to give them up was very trying, in fact she never could forget her former life and the change to her seemed impossible. She was not able to adapt herself to the inevitable, she tried to be brave and happy and to accept the blessings she now lacks. Her interment was in Willis cemetery, Daysville. She entered the Home June 2nd, 1917, passed beyond June lst, 1922, aged 74 years, having been an inmate five years.
