Newspaper Obituary -Wednesday, October 27, 1909 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - John V. Burr, formerly a resident of this place, died at his home in Brownville Friday, and the remains were brought here, to the home of his father, Adelbert Burr, north of the village. Mr. Burr had been in poor health for some time. The funeral was held Monday, at two o'clock. Rev. A. I. Ehle officiating. The Masonic rites were exemplified by Pulaski Lodge. Mr. Burr was 38 years of age and was well-known here. Three years ago he married a daughter of W. M. Hinman, who with his parents, two brothers, Frank of Atlanta, Georgia, and Harry of Pulaski. and a sister, Miss Hattie Burr, of Syracuse, survive him.
