      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 29, 1872 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Richland, August 24th, 1872, Betsey, wife of Mr. C. Wallace, aged 59 years. The deceased was a woman of rare ability and force of character. Her last sickness which was lingering and most painful, was borne with a patient and sweet resignation that indicated the clearest apprehension of God's right to do with his own as he sees fit. During the last month of her life, she found sweet rest in peace in Christ, and when the last hour came, and when strength had failed so that she could not speak she cheerfully pointed towards her heavenly home.
