      Newspaper Obituary - June 4, 1974 Syracuse Herald Journal - Syracuse, New York - Fred C. Lifts Services Friday ¬Fred C. Lifts, 87, husband of the late Edna Vanderbilt Lifts, formerly of Pulaski, died yesterday at a nursing home in St. Petersburg, Florida. Mr. Lifts had operated a farm on the former Lifts homestead, now a part of Selkirk Shores State Park. He retired 25 years ago, moving to St. Petersburg, Florida. Surviving are three sons, Donald of Henderson, Robert of St. Petersburg, Florida, and Clarence Lifts of Pulaski; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski. Burial will be in Daysville Cemetery. Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
