Florence---Gaffey Rites to be Saturday
Florence---William Gaffey, 60, was found dead near his home Wednesday and a verdict of accidental drowning was given by investigating officials.
He was born in Osceola, September 3, 1886, a son of John and Julia Quinn Gaffey. On June 16, 1930 he married Clara Mulvaney, Florence, who survives.
He also leaves these children, William, Dorothy, Ruth, Irene and David at home; three stepchildren, Eraine Mulvaney, Camden; Mrs. Earl Lindsay and Joseph Mulvaney, Utica and two sisters Mrs. Arthur Schaffer, Saquoit, and Mrs Samuel Foley, Utica.
The body has been removed to the B. A. Sanborn & Son Funeral Home, Camden, where services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday and at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church Florence, with internment in St. Mary's cemetery.
