    • STRATTON. Roger T. Stratton, 76, of Grant Road, Enfield, husband of Etta (Carroll) Stratton, died Tuesday (Jan. 14, 1997) at Hartford Hospital. Roger was born in Enfield and lived there all of his life. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and had worked at Gerber Scientific of South Windsor for many years. He was a member of the Enfield Grange. Besides his wife, he leaves five daughters and sons-in-law, Lucille and Victor DeNardis of Stafford Springs, Karen and James White of Enfield, Nancy and Buster Allen and Edith Stratton and Rodger Bibbee, all of Sarasota, FL, and Laura and Bill Wheelock of Fort Meyers, FL; a step-mother, Edna Stratton of Springfield, MA; a brother, David Stratton of Wilbraham, MA; three sisters, Margaret Merrill and her husband, James of East Longmeadow, MA, Erma Roland and her husband, Robert of East Springfield, MA and his sister, Marcia; 10 grandchildren, a great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by two brothers, George Stratton and Russell Stratton and two sisters, Ruth Denton and Loris Mead. A funeral service will be Saturday, 1 p.m. J.M. Bassinger Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor. Burial will be in Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Saturday, 12 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial donations may be made to either the Enfield Community Ambulance Fund, P.O.
