  Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, June 10, 1975 Syracuse Herald Journal - George W. Gibbs - Bernhards Bay - George W. Gibbs of Bernhards Bay, died yesterday in Oneida Hospital after a long illness. A native of Pulaski, Mr. Gibbs was a World War II veteran and retired last year as a game warden for the State Conservation Agency. He was a member of Scriba Masonic Lodge of Constantia and the Northshore Sports Club. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Miller; four sons, George Jr., William, Charles, and Daniel; a daughter, Miss Barbara Gibbs, all of Bernhards Bay; two foster sons, Michel Dahlberd of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Peter Dahlberd of Camden; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the Watson Funeral Home, Central Square, with the Rev. David Buchanan officiating. Burial will be in Bernhards Bay Cemetery. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
