Newspaper Obituary - Monday, May 19, 1969 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Mrs. Lloyd Grau Dies - Pulaski - Mrs. Rena M. Grau, 65, wife of Lloyd Grau, 16 N. Maple Street, Ovoca, former Rodman residents died Friday in Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital, Ovoca. The funeral will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Foster Funeral Home. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Besides her husband she is survived by two sons, Gaylord J. Gardner, Leroy, and Clarence L. Gardner, Parish; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Gladys) DeSalvatore, Fulton; Mrs. Roger (Hazel) Allen, Norfolk; and Mrs. Glen (Beulah) Nielson, Ada, Michigan; a step-son, Nelson D. Grau, Theresa; a step-daughter, Mrs. George (Beverly) Hickox, Auburn; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Kemheller, Fayetteville, and Mrs_ Dorothy Rogers, Mannsville, 26 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Born October 22, 1903, in Mexico, New York, a daughter of Peter and Addie Dyke Wilcox, she attended-school in Texas, New York, and was married to Clarence W. Gardner on September 13, 1920. The couple lived in East Mannsville several years, then moved to Wellesley Island, and Oxbow. They came to Pulaski 30 years ago. Mr. Gardner died in July 1961. In 1963 she was married to Lloyd Grau of Rodman. After marriage the couple lived in Florida. They returned to Rodman and then moved to Ovoca.
