      Newspaper Article - August, 1878 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - County Court - Oswego County, Frederick E. Lifts as administrator of the goods, chattels and credits of John M. Lifts, deceased, against Lydia A. Calkins and others. In pursuance of a decree and judgment of foreclosure and sale made in the above entitled action by the Oswego County Court at Oswego city, New York, on the 24th day of July, 1878, and duly filed, entered and docketed in the Clerk's office of said county, on the 27th day of July, 1878, I, the subscriber, as Sheriff of said county for that purpose dully appointed in this action, will sell at public auction at J. W. Fenton's law office in Pulaski, New York, on the 28th day of September, 1878, at ten o'clock a.m., the real estate thereby directed to be sold and therein described as follows, viz: "All that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Richland, county of Oswego and State of New York, described as follows, to wit: Being off of the west side of lot No. (68) sixty-eight in township No. (21) twenty-one, of Scriba's Patent, beginning at the southwest corner of lot No. 68 and bounded south by the line of said lot, east by lands deeded and contracted to Mrs. Asabel Calkins, and north by lands owned by Niles, or the north line of said lot, and west by the west line of said lot or lands owned by Roswell Calkins and Caroline LeRoy, to the place of beginning, and containing sixty acres of land.
