Newspaper Obituary - Monday Afternoon, July 31, 1916 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Paper Maker Dies From Heat - Julius King Stricken in Digester Room of Frontenac Mill - (Special to The Times) Dexter, July 31 - Julius King, aged 48 years, an employee of the digester room of the Frontenac mill, dropped dead at the door of the mill from heat prostration and heart failure, about 9 this morning. He had been working around the digesters in a room heated to a very high temperature, and had just sat down in the doorway to get a breath of fresh air when stricken. Mr. King, who was a large and very powerfully built man, had been apparently in the best of health. Dr. G. A. Foot was summoned and was appointed to act as coroner's physician by Coroner R. F. Gates, of Brownsville, who came here and made an investigation into the matter of Mr. King's sudden death. The body was given into charge of Undertaker A. B. Chidester and Mr. King's brother at Daysville was notified and arrived here this afternoon. Mr. King was born at Daysville near Pulaski, Oswego county, and came here about four years ago to work, boarding at the home of Benjamin Helmer. He was unmarried and leaves one brother, Phillip King of Daysville and two sisters, Mrs. George Chengo of Watertown and Mrs. D. Moore of Altmar.
