- Barbara J. Diamond Whitmer, 56, of Fulton, passed away Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse. She was a life resident of the Fulton area and had worked at Wal-Mart. She had previously worked at Nestle Co. in Fulton.
Barb enjoyed reading, cooking, cake decorating and the time spent with family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Charles Diamond. Barb will be forever loved by her husband, Daniel Whitmer; her mother, Alice Diamond; siblings, Lois Groat, Susan Mastro, Gail Patterson, Charles Diamond, Joyce Geble, Joan Diamond and Janet Busch; as well as Daniel's family; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
