- Michael Ginn, 61, of West Monroe, died Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at his home. Born in Mexico, he had lived in West Monroe since 1976. He had worked for Carrier Corporation, East Syracuse for 37 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Glenn and Violet Ginn; and a brother, Gary Ginn. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, the former, Sharon McDonald; three daughters, Shelly (Jeff) Cough of Woodville, Kelly (Dean) Porter of Parish and Renee (Paul) VanDusen of West Monroe; three sons, Scott (Debbie) Ginn of Parish, Joseph (Melissa) Ginn of West Monroe and Jeffery Ginn of Syracuse; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; three sisters, Diane Monroe of Newark, NY, Bonnie Spencer of Richland and Kay Baum of West Monroe; and two brothers, David Rice of Webster, NY and Ronald Rice of Palermo. Memorial Services will be 7 p.m., Friday, February 22, 2008 at the WATSON FUNERAL HOME, INC., 631 So. Main St., Central Square with calling hours from 5 to 7 p.m. before the service.
