      Mrs. Florence V. Gerow, 82, died Sept. 27, 1963 in Oswego Hospital after a long illness. The funeral was held Sunday at the Weston and Woodard funeral home, Sandy Creek. The Rev. Robert Bird officiated. Burial was in Woodlawn cemetery. She was the daughter of Charles and Jennie Lindo Dingman and was born in the Town of Sandy Creek, where her parents were lifelong residents. She was married to William Gerow. They lived at one time on the Smartville road, in the present Willard Brown home and moved 38 years ago to Oswego. Mr. Gerow died Oct. 26, 1951.

      Mrs. Gerow is survived by a son, Gerald Gerow of Utica; a brother, Earl Dingman of Mattydale, and several nieces and nephews. One daughter, Mildred, died before her parents death. Mrs. Gerow was a member of the First Methodist church in Oswego.
