Newspaper Obituary - Friday, January 20, 2006 The Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Violet O. Diamond, age 84, of Richland, died Wednesday at her home. Born on October 26, 1921, in Albion, she was the daughter of Arleton and Mabel Simmons Miller. She resided in Richland since 1977 and previously lived in Mexico. She graduated from Pulaski High School and married Harvey Rice who died in 1971, then married Charles Diamond who died in 1992. Surviving are three sons, David Rice of Rochester, Ronald Rice of Fulton, Michael Ginn of West Monroe; three daughters, Bonnie Spencer of Richland, Diane Munroe of Newark, Kay Baum of Parish; two sisters, Elnora Hankins, Audra Higby, both of Pulaski; 23 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one son, Gary Ginn, 1996. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Pulaski Wesleyan Church with Rev. Bud Fancy officiating. Spring burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. No calling hours. Donations may be made to Pulaski Wesleyan Church. Arrangements by Foster-Hax Funeral Home.
