Newspaper Obituary - Saturday, March 16, 1991 - Glen E. Olin Dies - Glen E. Olin, 80, county Route 48, died Friday afternoon at the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown, of a heart attack. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Richard A. Bennett, pastor of Pulaski Wesleyan Church, officiating. Spring burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Olin is survived by a daughter, Glenda E. Derr, Richland; his fiancée, Frances Moffit, Richland, and six grandchildren. A daughter, Lois Olin, died in 1945. He was born December 29, 1910, Altmar, son of William and Maude Emery Olin. He graduated from Altmar High School and married Gertrude DeGarmo in 1928. She died in 1963. Mr. Olin was Richland postmaster in the 1930s. He owned and operated a grocery store, bar and restaurant, and Olin's Garage, all in Richland, for more than 50 years. He was a member of the Richland Fire Department.
