Notes - VERNON HOLLIDAY MERRITT ISLAND Vernon Holliday, 79, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2008 in Merritt Island. Vernon was born in Oswego, NY in 1929. He retired from the United States Air force as a MSgt. after proudly serving 23 years. In 1970, Vernon moved to Merritt Island, where he became an insurance adjuster. During his free time, he enjoyed being a private pilot, golfer, and an avid gardener. He is survived by his two daughters, Debra and Patricia Holliday; five sisters, three brothers, and four loving grand children. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
